Korea is a small peninsula, so most of their cuisines has a very wealthy seafood dishes. They are often prepared in various ways like being fermented, roasted, grilled, braised, boiled, raw and dried. If you are going to name something that came quickly to mind when you hear about Korean food, you will probably think on their barbecued meat, spicy foods and perhaps their kimchi.

Korean cuisines are considered as a defining element of their culture for many reasons. One is that, food is related to the overall environment of the country, the location and its climate as well as its geography. Most of the locals eat a lot of Korean seafood. Koreans are sea food lovers and seek out the best specialties of each region.

Koreans usually eat 3 different kinds of seafoods most of the time. They often love to eat dried sardine. In fact. This is not their main dish but it serves as a condiment to be eaten along with other dishes. Bowls of these are served at every meal especially during breakfast. Typically, dried cuttlefish is a recipe they cannot eat without. Dried cuttlefish is one of the most popular snack foods in Korea and even sold in vending machines.

There are various kinds that most people in Korea eat. Seaweeds are useful and nutritious in a country that can survive long winters. Babies are also fed with seaweed soups and traditional birthday events include seaweed soup on their menu. Actually, there are thousands of reasons why most Korean foods are very healthy.

For many centuries, people in Redondo Beach CA have eaten different products of the mountain, field and sea of the most distinguish climate which makes most Korean dishes abundant. Their foods are also special, exotic and particular. Its spiciness is the most distinguishing feature of these dishes. In addition of their seafood dishes, they also like eat products and famous to Westerners. They often love to marinate meat with different seasonings such as sugar, garlic, soy sauce and a lot more. Vegetable dishes are also popular in Korea. People usually eat more vegetables with rice than red meats. This is because, they believe that red meats can higher the risk of heart attack and other heart diseases. However, seafoods such as octopus, prawns, crabs and squid are highly packed with vitamins, minerals and fish oils contain Omega 3 best for the heart health.

Although any seafood has higher level of cholesterol, but saturated fats can also be found which can be commonly found in red meat, fast food and cheese that increases levels of bad cholesterol in the body. Thus, sea food is unlikely to have major effects to the levels of your cholesterol.

Finally, studies show that eating seafoods regularly is beneficial to your health in many ways. Evidence also suggests that a diet with fish oils can help protect you from major diseases and help to improve your overall well being.
