By Olivia Cross

Craps is an interesting game and stands out as one of the best bets in a casino. If you are new in casinos, this is the best bets to start with. It is very lively, and other players are always screaming as you win. The casino profit (house edge) is just 1.41%. This is up to 3 times better than roulette. It is also many times better than the slot machines. However, it does not come easy; you have to learn how to play craps by making the good bets and avoiding the suckers.

Craps is one of the liveliest games in the casino. The players are constantly yelling and screaming at a win or a loss. However, a unique aspect of the game is that as a player, you have a chance to determine your own fate. Unlike other games where it is the responsibility of another person to spin the little marble or deal the cards, as a player, you have a chance to roll the dice.

Before everything else, you will need chips. This is called buying chips. It is very easy, just put the cash on the table and the dealer provides the chips for the cash offered. Since the dealers don't give change, all the money that you offer will be turned into chips.

There is nothing to worry about as not all the chips must be used to bet. All the chips that remain after betting should be taken to the cashier booth where it is turned back to cash. Normally, the minimum bet is listed as a sign on the table. In most cases, it will be not more than $5.

It all begins by buying the chips. The dealer collects the cash you put on the table and gives you an equal amount of chips. However, it is important to understand that they don't make the change.

However, you can still opt not to roll it if you don't feel like. You can just pass the responsibility to the next player when your time comes. However, if you choose to roll, you have to roll until you roll a losing 7.

The other basic thing to learn is that not the numbers but rather the totals that matter. As such, a total of both dice is considered. By rolling a 3, for example, it is a total of three on both dice and not a 3 on any of the dice. This can be confusing to first-time players.

However, 2, 3 or 12 mean that you lost. The second Come Out roll is even trickier. Generally though, a win earns you amount equally to what you bet. If it is a loss, you lose the bet. If the chip you bet is $5, you earn another $5 for winning or lose $5 if you lose. All you need to know is the Pass Line to bet successfully.
