There's only so much time, and honestly, we all need to start using it wisely.
Life can turn on you so quickly. It's amazing how it seems to do that at the worst time possible. One second you are standing straight up and everything is going great and the next you are on your back. But without these moments, how would we be taught the importance of getting back up after we've fallen?
Our greatest moments come after the times that we lose rather than the times we win. Everyone loves a winner, but when you are down and out and you have nothing left in the tank you finally get to understand what you are really made of. You get to ask yourself, "Are you going to get back up again or are you going to quit?" That's a very big moment, and unfortunately, not a moment that many people can actually pass through effectively.
Why?
In truth, the thought of going through the pain and anguish again if failure arrives at the front door is so terrifying that it takes most people out of their game. In fact, it takes them off of the road of life and parks them in the dirt. For some, they will never pull back onto the road because that pain of defeat will define their emotions for the rest of their life.
For those who have a vision deep inside of them and who understand that failure is part of the game, they know that they must get back up. They must do it because they can do it. They don't accept a single failure or many failures as a representation of who they are as a person. They just accept it as getting one step closer to succeeding in their end goal.
We need people in this world who will dedicate their lives to inspiring the lives of others. We need these people because we live in a society that promotes personal success rather than the success of the collective. What if you could raise the lives of all of the people around you? What if you could take a stand for everyone instead of just what is possible for yourself? You could be something that would be remembered for all time.
So, what is the decision you're going to make?
Now is the time to live your dream. Do it.
